ONE LINERS CURRENT AFFAIRS 1-4 JULY 2016

Keeping yourself abreast with the latest happenings is not only important for enhancing our awareness but it also plays a pivotal role in any Competitive Exams, be it IAS, KAS, Bank PO, SSC and any other. It is a scoring subject and one can easily get above 90% in this which can be a game changer. But, to do so it requires incessant serious efforts. Reading regularly is impertinent, but it is such a subject which is time consuming and there are other important subjects as well to deal with.

  • An Orange alert has been issued  in Uttrakhand by the Indian Meteorological Department for the next 24 hours.

  • Haryana Government has announced that the Texts from the holy books of various religions will be incorporated in the curriculum of government schools from this month. 
  • For the initial phase, 50 ancient sites has been identified by the government of India under the project to make several monuments accessible for the differently-abled persons. 
  • President Pranab Mukherjee inaugurated the Smart Model Village Pilot project at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. The Project aims to replicate the techniques used for transforming the President's Estate into a model township in five selected villages in Mewat and Gurgaon districts of Haryana.
