1. First time in the history of the Judiciary of the Muslim-Majority country Noor Huda Roslan, 40 and Nenney Shuhaidah Shamsuddin (41) have been appointed as Judges of Malaysia's Islamic Shariah High Court.

2. Viswanathan Anand, Five-time world champion, was conferred the "Honoris Causa" Doctor of Science by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) during its 49th convocation ceremony. He was bestowed with the degree by NITI Aayog Chairman Arvind Panagariya.

7. China has successfully launched its 2nd Shijian-16 series satellite for space research and experiments.

8. Rodrigo Duterte because a new Philippine President after a landslide election victory. 

9. The Maharashtra government has decided to sign MOU with Tata Power for sourcing 1,000 MW from the upcoming Dherand Thermal Project.

10. The World Bank Group and International Solar Alliance (ISA), have signed an agreement to collaborate on increasing solar energy use around the world with the goal of mobilising $ 1 trillion in investments by 2030.     

11. The Government of India and Tanzania have signed an MOU for bilateral cooperation in water resources management.
